| | Miss New Booty Remix | ] | So I'm all moved in! I've been in my new summer place for about a week now. Jessica helped me move in my bed, and my roommate and I have already had our first party. Last Friday we invited a bunch of people over to celebrate our new roommate-ness. Jessica came, which totally made the night. The police also came, which was not as fun, but only gave a warning. That didn't really stop the party. Robbie had fun and agrees that we should do things like this often, although next time I'm hiding my Ketel One. I went to my Grandparents to see my entire family for the weekend which was alright, but Lauren wasn't there so it was a little boring for me. I also got a lot of questions regarding my father and my recent move, but overall I feel that I handled it well. Maureen and I hung out tonight but got short because one of her friends found out that she won't be able to breast feed her daughter? Overall this summer been a lot of fun so far and I never want to go back to school!

| | Paula Deanda - Doing Too Much | ] | So last night was our second date with the Novack. The Charthouse was the bomb.com! But of course the one time I ever get carded is the night he decides to order a $225 bottle of BV reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. I had macadamia coconut crusted Mahi Mahi which was fabulous, and Courtney had Halibut. My (non-alcoholic) strawberry lemonade was, nevertheless, pretty damn good! So after dinner Doug suggested we go to 3-Thirty-3, which I guess is some trendy bar in Newport. Sooo we went there and I sat in the lounge and I had no trouble getting served. I'm realizing that I'm a red wine drinker..Courtney ordered a Chardonnay from her part of the state and it just tasted like barrel. All in all I think I ended up having 7 glasses of wine, so I couldn't drive. Courtney was, to put it lightly, toasted. Doug drove us to her apartment where I kinda sobered up and then went to Robbie's where Juan and Corey were hanging out. It was pretty chill, and I got home around 1:30ish. It was a pretty amazing night though, and I'm really liking this kind of partying. So much better than doing it gay.

| | Heather Headley - Me Time | ] | So basically Douglas Novack was the opening to a crunked up weekend. Saturday I saw a myspace bulletin that my friend Robbie was renting out his spare bedroom. So I hit it up and said I might want a place to live in for summer. I got a phone call that night and checked it out. Its kinda small but I can deal. So later that night there was supposed to be a party so Robbie and I went with his friend Corey. We all went to a liquor store and I wasn't even carded! So the party ended up being a bust so some people just went over to Robbie's. I basically got plastered and fell in love with the place so I'm definitely moving in.
On Sunday night I went to Maureen's and played Cranium with her roommates which was basically a bust because that game is not even fun. After that we went to Lucky Sundays for the first time. The bar was kinda lame but there were some cool people there and I didn't get carded at the door. Maureen opened up a bar tab and $80 later we were hardly buzzing. But Robbie and some his friends were there and Corey put his number in my phone. :)
All in all a fun weekend!

| | Paris Hilton - Stars are Blind | ] | Courtney and I went out with Douglas Novack last night to Quattro Caffe at South Coast. He straight up invited us to dinner when he came in to tan on Thursday. The staff at Quattro treated him like a god because he eats there religiously. They even make him his own special meal that he's invented. He ordered us appetizers and told us that we HAD to eat three desserts! He kept the wine flowing like it was nothing! I don't even know how much it cost and I hesitate to guess. I guess we made quite the impression as we're going to the Charthouse on PCH next Friday! I like this kind of entertaining. Getting wasted at a house party is fun too, and I suppose everything has a place, but lately I'm just really enjoying eating and drinking with mature people in a little more serious atmosphere.
Courtney and I have also started working out together at Lakeshore towers and I am basically having my ass handed to me, which is great! I just wanna look like Ashton Kutcher... his body anyway. :) |

| | Damone - Up to You | ] | The funeral was this morning. Courtney came with, so she got to meet the fam, which was cool. After that there was a reception at Chris and Donna's, which I originally planned on making a cameo and leaving, but I decided to be decent and stay. I'm glad I did, I got to talk with some family I don't get to see normally.
So basically I'm spazzing about my math final tommorow. I have to get an 88% in the class to pass it. My NYU admission is contingent on my "successful completion of current academic coursework." I'm gonna call tommorow and see if I can get that excused because of the distraction with my mom.
So basically things are slowing down around here. The funeral was short and sweet, and I don't know what I think about that. My Grandpa and all of my dad's brothers were there to support me and that felt really good. I'm really proud to be a Graham. |

| LJ rebirth |
[Jun. 4th, 2006|11:26 pm] |

| | drunk | ] | So this is the rebirth (renaissance, if you will) of my LJ. The old entries were a part of a journal that was too personal to be exposing to all the whackjobs on the internet. The new format is going to be something like a social diary I could one day refer to to write my memoirs. I'll also not be allowing comments, as my life does not need comments from anyone any more than this journal does.
Tonight I went over to my old roommate's house to pick up my suit jacket for the funeral tomorrow. My dad tells me he wants to "help" me sell my mom's cars, but I don't really want his help. I just want to do it all myself and get it over with as quickly as possible. So after some indecisiveness I finally decided on NYU. I was wavering and I think I almost gave my family a heart attack. I think I kind of shot myself in the foot. With all the wavering that's gone on in the past week I don't think they take me so seriously. But whatever, I'm 20, I'm allowed to be impulsive. Fred Lamberson also called last week when I was in New York and I called him back today... I guess my biological dad wants to get in touch with me again. Not quite sure how I feel about that. Tonight I hung out with Yassna's family at her house for drinks and Persian food! It was a lot more fun than I anticipated, and her dad makes some bomb ass Margaritas! So basically her dad and I were blitzed and he made me eat something called an "Anaheim Chili Pepper." Haha, it was pretty bomb overall. I also talked to Justine Langston today, and she's coming home in a few weeks and we're gonna hang out. |
